Pros

Good entry level job for the industry, exposure to a lot of different equipment, very intelligent and fun people (for the most part). It's fun to build a foundation for your future and help you experience the different areas of the field. Very talented people in DevOps. I learnt lots and had stayed only for the people.

Cons

Several limitations to do ANYTHING, rotational and dysfunctional upper organization, no real work towards bettering the employees. Expectations increase with no real training to back it up and the training in place is not good. Nobody is there to assist AJ with all he does. Management is lacking people and skills. Infrastructure needs updates. To expand on what other reviewers have mentioned about the owner... Joe McMillen is not a good person. This company exists only to fill his pockets and to give his nephews a good position at a company. His attitude and actions towards his employees involves being screamed at for 'wasting his dollars', butting heads about how things should run (ideas great 10 years ago) or not acknowledging your existence at all. He is very intelligent but a person who must display his power. He is the single biggest problem the company has holding it back and nobody should have to cater to him the way he makes people.

Pros

We are always in continuous learning. The work environment is extremely pleasant, more than a work team feels like a family. The people of high rank within the company, encourage teamwork and are constantly involved, helping to ensure that everything goes well. We have opportunities to improve in what we like

Cons

You have to handle many tools and it tends to be a bit difficult the time it takes to adapt when you start working here.

Pros

Opportunity to learn a wide variety of platforms, scripting/programming languages and get the knowledge needed to move on to a better, higher paying position. AJ and the Dev Ops team are extremely knowledgeable and want people to learn, but are hampered by management.

Cons

Knowledge is learned by taking on work that isn't part of your job title or description. Pay is too low for the field in this current era, CEO does *NOT* care about the company at all and should just let someone else run it. East Coast "President" is a huge hurdle to making good change in the company and is not even based in San Diego at this time. I understand working in the interest of the business, but they don't take employee compensation or opinion in to account and with how small the company is, that is ridiculous.
