Pros

Mission and service provided to families is noble and provides support for those that need it.

Cons

The noble mission of CaringBridge is not reflected in the workplace setting at all. It's quite the opposite. Sr. Leadership continually pressures employees to bring in more donation dollars, more sites to be created each day and more registered users. It's not relational, creative or empowering for staff. The environment is so management heavy for the number of employees and more titles than a large coporattion that all it promotes is political games. And the titles can change at the tip of a hat which makes staff feel off balance all the time. On the outside it looks like this perfect happy nonprofit that promotes a great service, but on the inside it's a dysfunctional organizational nightmare where risk taking is not promoted and you are to stay in your "cube" and do what's on your job description (which could change in a heartbeat).
