Pros

Have not found the first pro yet.

Cons

I was scheduled for interviews on two separate days. On both occasions, I logged in early and waited, but no one joined the meetings. First time someone called to apologize.

Pros

The coffee in the break room.

Cons

Everything. This is a company that has you come in in the morning for 1990s style Tony Robbins cheerleader meetings for two hours and insist you dress business professional while paying you $10 an hour. Then they expect you to change into casual clothes of their approval to go chase people down at a local Lowe’s to sell gutter install leads in the hopes that they will close or at least be verified by an actual sales rep who if they can’t close the deal or get a door slammed in their face will turn around and say it was a bad lead. That’s it. You will be the guy standing in a Lowe’s saying the same tired script that some kid wrote for you to read to potentially your neighbors, how embarrassing is that? All of this is in the hopes that within just a couple weeks, you yourself can own your own company and hire other people just like you to do the exact same thing for you at other Lowes and take half of their commission. This is not by definition a Ponzi scheme, but if Ponzi scheme was a cologne, they would stink of it.

Pros

-Great place to work in terms of culture, regular meals and drinks are a nice way to build relationships with colleagues and with clients and the Christmas parties are always excellent -When you start at Carnegie, they give you time to settle into the sector and you are not rushed to bill like in bigger firms -Consistent billing are rewarded with progression and salary increases -It is a boutique firm of 8-10 people with 1 or 2 handling recruitment for each vertical with their PE/Credit/VC client base (Finance, HR, Operations, EA/PA's), so it has a family feel -It is not a micro-managed type of firm -Solid client base of fund managers who use Carnegie because of their strong track record and results -Excellent google reviews which shows their reputation -Great central London location in Soho

Cons

Not much I can add here in terms of cons - hard work is rewarded and everyone is friendly. The pension could be better but with a small firm that's par for the course I guess.
