      Pros

      Great environment, wonderful introduction to research. they offer internship opportunities to University students, even as early as Freshman year. Get ready to dive into a project! Great speaker series every week.

      Cons

      Communication between departments wasn't so great, since everyone was so busy with their own projects. As a temporary researcher, it would have been great to see what other fascinating work was being done.

      Very collaborative groups Competition is not an issue Lots of vacation days Lots of seminars and educational possibilities International environment

      Cons

      A lot of work for such a low pay No pension plan for postdocs. Distinction between postdocs and other employees reflected in fewer benefits.
