Pros

It seems to be a great company to work for, but their talent acquisition team is not acting as a recruitment consultant and strategic partner to the Castle Group Management Team.

Cons

Potential candidates disqualified for not disclosing previous salary. Companies should make offers based on what you can do for them, not what you did for your previous company. They look at what another company thought the candidate was worth and then decide if that salary indicates that you're qualified to go further in the interview process. And if your current salary is too high, you're disqualified without consideration of whether or not you're interested in that job for reasons other than dollar signs. In an ideal world, there'd be no angst around salaries, and no one but your accountant and your spouse would ever need to know your salary history. But, some companies are dumb as rocks when it comes to recruiting. If you can get to the hiring manager, you're probably golden, but if you're stuck at an HR wall, you'll probably have to confess your salary before you can get through. CASTLE GROUP MANAGEMENT TEAM: If your HR department is putting up walls, consider replacing them with someone who knows how to value candidates' potential rather than their past.

Pros

Offer part-time work. Same job every day - answer calls, write tickets. If you like doing something that is simple then this job is good. That can also be a con. Stay calm with residents, pace yourself regardless of expectations and stay professional and you can last long in this role.

Cons

Monday - Friday for Full-Time (schedule has no negotiation) Benefits are not good for a College student - 27 years old paying student loans Management works in same cubicles, high supervision Small in-person team, majority of team is online or international. No collaboration or group work with team Same job every day - answer calls, write tickets, don’t spend too much time in one metric Time spent on online, transfer, Away, offline is constantly being monitored, Goals for these metrics changes every month Department cubicles works close to human resources and senior-role employees - can be stressful at times, if you are used to having more team members than supervisors.
