Pros
You learn a lot because you have to wear so many hats. If you’re fresh out of college, this may be a good place to start. If you even have the minimal amount of experience, there are better opportunities out there. There was room for growth for me, but only by title—pay was never competitive.
Cons
Upper management is super pretentious and think only their ideas matter. They try to charm you at first. They’re super nice to you and act like they care about you on a personal level until they find you “useless” or they just decide to dislike you. They don’t treat employees working under them with the respect they deserve and are prone to micromanage. Some days, you’re afraid to approach them because they’re in an obvious bad mood. I’ve almost cried a few times because of the way my manager spoke to me while they were in a bad mood. At the end, the truth is upper management/senior managers don’t care about you. They’re self-preservationists and truly only care about themselves. Company culture is basically nonexistent. Trust me there are better places to work.
