Pros

Airline experience and decision making. Airline experience and decision making. Airline experience and decision making. Airline experience and decision making.

Cons

1. INSUFFICIENT training. You will learn EVERYTHING once you’re deployed and it includes hundreds of mistakes and if you commit one some lead CSA/supervisor would get upset and blame you bec u dont knw the job. Would not even consider youre a newbie. EXPERIENCE IS YOUR TEACHER 2. OUTSOURCED. Just govt benefits, agency staff also are blind and deaf to CSagents requests. 3. SUPERVISOR/CSA LEADS/MANAGER are grumpy and if you ask for help they complain. Unapproachable and very unprofessional. 4. CUSTOMERS/PASSENGERS are way too demanding, their problem will be your problem. They dont understand what a budget airline is so many complaints are coming esp if there are DELAYS. 5. SALARY cannot COMPENSATE the workload. Mentally draining and physically exhausting as sometimes Baggage Loader is not present to help you carry bags which weigh from 5-32 kls more or less. 6. Agent will pay more or less 50k pesos once an international bound passenger has been denied entry due to insufficient docs overlooked by the agent 7. You have to manually make your Daily Time Record and compute your hours, inconvenient for employee 8. SLOW TO NO career growth

Pros

The company is young but clearly innovative. The CEO is a great guy who tries to be very visible and accommodating to employees. The environment is "fun", the building is new and the majority of the employees are young--slowly but surely people are getting hired based on skills not tenure which is a very good thing. There's a lot of smart people here. HR conducts lots of training (and greatly improving in terms of modules offered and trainers hired).

Cons

Politics. Makes your job very difficult and draining. I've worked in other companies and I know there's always going to be some level of negativity and politics in any environment, but it is very high in Cebu Pacific. The aviation industry has to get rid of the seniority in its ranks. Compensation and benefits are low compared to existing industry standards. And work/life balance is very poor. I'm not sure if it's entirely the company culture or the Filipino culture but everybody is expected to work loooong hours despite obvious decrease in productivity. No union is allowed. You're on your own!
