Pros

Consistent support across positions. Highly motivated and very experienced supervisors and advisors that can support early career clinician's professional development. Access to participate in a productive research lab. Having completed my doctoral training at an R1 research-based hospital setting I have been looking for a similar organization to call home for over 6 years. After working at several organizations I can confidently say I have found that home and it is even better than I could have hoped. If you are an early career technician interested in going to graduate school or an active BCBA looking for a highly ethical company that is pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved in pursuit of helping adults with disabilities achieve an improved quality of life then look no farther than CABA.

Cons

Because we are scaling some processes will need to shift to new systems that can support the increased work and that sometimes causes panic with having to learn the new system.

Pros

Honestly, not many. Some coworkers were supportive, but that was more about individual people than the company itself.

Cons

Poor management: Disorganized leadership creates confusion and unnecessary stress. No real growth opportunities: They say they promote from within, but rarely (if ever) follow through. Lack of support: RBTs/BTs are treated like an afterthought, and asking for help feels like you're a burden. Toxic work environment: The clinic is full of cliques — from upper management to RBTs — which leads to gossip, exclusion, and tension among staff. Sexism in the workplace: Certain job tasks are unfairly assigned based on gender, creating an unequal and uncomfortable atmosphere. Negligent safety practices: During a PG&E power outage, the administration still forced sessions to run despite no electricity, compromising both staff and client safety.
