Pros

14 days on, 14 days off was the best work rotation I still remember. However, that was all the ONLY good thing I can recall!

Cons

The new management under Centerra Gold still relies on some few "old-timers" who still think we were in the 1990s when Kemess Mine made captivating headlines in the Gold-mining world. But things have changed cowboys! Current managers at the Mine are ineffective, inept and lazy leaders for Centerra's grand vision for the future. However, the "old-timers" (who unfortunately are current managers) can mainly spend hours reminiscing about the golden era at Kemess Mine before the Internet and Cell phones. Want to be hired? Forget it because Nepotism and Favouritism is the order of the day at Kemess!

Pros

Compensation & Benefits - very competitive, leaders are approachable and care about the safety and well-being of employees, in the Corporate office flexible work arrangements, camps at mine sites are well run, great ESG team, challenging projects and work, DE&I programs, training and leadership development programs

Cons

Current unstable environment in Turkey but the company has seen bigger challenges with Kumtor, lack of upward mobility given size of company
