Pros

Flex scheduling, which started the last few years. The "said" work hours sound good. Benefits are pretty good. Nearby a lot of good restaurants.

Cons

Micro managing. Hire un-experienced supervisors and managers. You see inferiors train some of the superiors. Like many places it is who you know, not what you know. You can work to get designations, education, work late hours, etc, however if they do not like you, you will not get promoted. Underpaid compared to the market. One person in HR department at the region. She says one thing, but does another. They are not an equal opportunity employer. If you are related or friends with an agent or one of the higher up's you are guaranteed to be promoted or start at a higher position. If you are a minority you also have a high chance of moving up. The good work hours real you in, but you have enough work for two or three, therefore to stay a float you will work probably 50 hours on an average week. If you are dumb enough to work over time in attempts to do a good job, it goes un noticed. The desk are at least 60 years old. Very little room for growth especially if you are not liked.

Pros

Competitive salary, employer-paid pension, generous paid-leave, transparency in management, leadership listens and has an employee-focused attitude.

Cons

Advancement can be difficult and there is no true path for individual contributors. One can only go so far if management is not in your future. While the company does hire remote employees, they will not consider them for leadership roles. There are no advancement opportunities for those employees.
