Friendly people in the team

Cons

Management does not have a clue on how to incentivise staff, with no room for progression or any suitable training to develop an individual. Head of customer management is clueless .Would only recommend if you need a gap filler in your CV.

nice people, it's fully remote, so no travel costs, unless you want to

Cons

over-engineered software stack that you need a PHd to navigate, pay reviews just don't happen, a mountain of technical debt which get ignored

Pros

- when the product works, it works well. And it works well almost all of the time, but when it doesn't work you can forget about solving things quickly

Cons

- The Directors of this company are such a mixed bag. We have some amazing people leading the business, and some people who add nothing. They belittle others, want to micromanage things not really in their area of responsibility and are a barrier to progress. They also all can't have meetings together without shouting which every person in the company finds out about - some very strange decisions made regarding who we partner with for our banking rails - zero career prospects - zero pay rises for YEARS! how am I meant to stay here? You say I do a good job but there's no budget, ever. It's do demoralising
