Pros

If you are looking for somewhere where there is small but great team that is all passionate, hard working, independent, and kind professionals, look no further. Despite my long commute hours, it is always a pleasure to come into the office every morning. Working with this company, I get to face challenges every day that helps me learn and grow. Everyone who works here have very similar work ethic, are driven and kind and fun people while showing the utmost professionalism. If you are looking for somewhere that gives purpose and meaning to your work day, where you aren't just trying to fill a day with boring repetitive work, where you can find yourself challenging yourself and taking on projects that you can call your own, I think this is the best place to look in the non profit field.

Cons

It is a small non profit team which means sometimes resources can be a bit thin. But thanks to the support of our board and our brilliant new CEO who is paving the way for a bright future for CPARF, we are growing everyday. I think it can be seen as a pro because we have a lot of work to do everyday and anything we do makes a difference to the growth of the organisation.

Pros

The work I am a part of through the Cerebral Palsy Alliance is meaningful, challenging, and stratified. I am surrounded by high level thinkers and constantly find myself wanting to be a better version of myself. I enjoy coming to work every day knowing I am making a difference in the lives of individuals impacted by CP. This position allows me to do good while also doing well.

Cons

It's a small team, but I would not necessarily say this facet of the work dynamic is a con. The small team working environment allows for forwarding-thinking collaboration as well as the opportunity for individuals within any position of the company to rise to the occasion and share their ideas.

Pros

The staff are friendly, conscientious, and care about what they're doing.

Cons

There seemed to be some management issues common to non-profits.
