The employees are hard working and dedicated and often really good people. However that is not a reflection of the company, just good people.
Cons
If you enjoy being treated like a second class citizen this is the place for you. If you enjoy a work environment that lacks structure and has poor communication this is the place for you. If you love working into all hours of the night an into the morning making last minute insignificant changes, this is the place for you. If you enjoy working by yourself or with a different person every week with no structure and being yelled at by one and ignored by the other this is the place for you. If you love never getting credit or ownership of your work you'll fit right in. If your idea of creativity is copying images from Pinterest and tweaking them to fit your needs you'll fit right in. You wont find creativity here. If you expect to get paid a reasonable wage living in NYC, you won't find that here. They would rather hire younger people than increase the pay of their dedicated employees. There are no opportunities for growth. there is no mentorship even though it is something they boast about in their on-boarding. They love taking people from other firms who already have accomplished work and taking credit for them. They have no interest in your development as a designer or a professional and would rather see you go to have one less person to pay. Management is basically non-existent. DO NOT confide in these people they have no interest or care in you as a person. They will take you what you tell them and use it as ammunition against you. They gossip and bad mouth their employees. There is also a complete lack of HR which this company is in desperate need of. They will squeeze and pinch every penny they can from you and never compensate you for overtime and you will work over time always.
