Pros

From the moment I stepped into my role at Charlie Health, it was evident that this wasn't just any other job. The support I receive from my colleagues is unparalleled. It's a rare and special feeling to be constantly challenged and yet also constantly learning. What sets Charlie Health apart is the genuine impact of our work. Many companies boast of a mission, but here, it's palpable. Knowing that my daily efforts directly assist suicidal kids provides an unparalleled sense of purpose. The mission doesn't just drive results – it drives us as a team, making every project, every day, and every challenge worth it.

Cons

With the tremendous impact we aim to achieve, rapid growth is inevitable. This means adapting to changing processes, and I understand this might not be everyone's cup of tea. If someone isn't ready for a fast-paced environment, then perhaps Charlie Health might not be the right fit for them. As with any company, there are differing opinions, which are evident in the polarized reviews here. But Charlie Health doesn't claim to be perfect. It’s a work in progress. The young founders are not only adaptable but also receptive to feedback, creating a transparent and evolving work environment.

Pros

The engineers, clinicians, product folks are passionate and genuinely care about helping our clients

Cons

From all I’ve seen, the upper management does not prioritize clients, rather profit. If you are an engineer, I would not recommend joining Charlie Health in its current state. That may change down the line, but my experience was volatile and absurdly incompetent from upper leadership. Engineers are not prioritized and frankly seen as disposable. Deep down at Charlie Health there is a great company, and it could one day be a great place to work. But dear lord they need to get their act together first- don’t get caught in the crossfire.
