Pros
Truthfully, I took this job because of the pay and benefits. I never anticipated that I would find my calling. Our work has a genuine impact on the world. The energy of the people who work here is unparalleled. Full transparency, my background is in startups and not mental health. This is not where I thought I would end up but I was inspired by the companies mission. Using my background to assist suicidal kids has given me a sense of purpose. I’m someone who needs a fast past environment, so for me it’s perfect. My team is driven and I feel supported by leadership. All jobs come with challenges but the ones we face are worth it for the results.
Cons
A lot of the "cons" employees complain about are just inevitable in any job. We are growing fast. You're going to have to accept the pace and lean in if you want to be happy.
