Friendly Small Town Environment - Anonymous employee Chelsea Community Hospital Employee Review

Great coworkers, people are very friendly, nice small town feel to a hospital even though it is affiliated with Trinity a larger corporation.

Some people did not like the changes being made from a small town hospital to a larger corporation due to choices being made "from above." Overall this did allow increased benefit incentives and more opportunities for employee perks by joining a larger network, but it also required changes to the PCE system, etc.

A lot of good people and some interesting work. It's nice knowing that your work can have a direct positive impact on people. A decent variety of work, and opportunities to learn from some very experienced colleagues. A lot of encouragement from people in other departments.

Some of the managers lack the communication skills necessary to keep in touch with what employees are working on and properly develop employees. I got more encouragement and feedback from people in other departments than I did from managers in my department.
