Pros

The people were totally awesome! I worked alongside some of the most real and talented developers and designers. We solved some great problems and learned a lot too.

Cons

The boss! Plain and simple, he is completely bonkers, entirely manic, and needs some serious meds. Happy and praising one moment, then berating and verbally abusive the next. He once "let go" most of his staff after 5 months so that they couldn't collect unemployment. The work is kind of crap too.

It's too bad that you felt this way. We offer a very challenging and competitive work environment at Chepri. It's definitely not for everyone. Our culture benefits from being the best, allowing for maximum professionalism, and frankly not every new employee can be right for our company as well as our company be a perfect fit for them. This is the way it goes. That being said, we've never "fired" anyone for any other reason than job performance, attendance or breaking company policy.

Pros

Awesome opportunity to work at a smaller company that is growing - a lot of people don't appreciate how valuable that is and what potential exists because of the company's size and how fast it is growing. It is definitely a work hard, play hard mentality at Chepri. In order to succeed, you must be willing to put in the work when it's needed (which is only sometimes, not all the time). You will not do well if you're looking to put forth only minimal effort. The teams are all really tight, and often socialize with each other after work and even on the weekends. Overtime, I've come to feel like my co-workers are some of my closest friends. Flex scheduling is nice. You can come in anytime between 7am and 10am, and then leave depending on what time you arrived. That can really come in handy if you have doctor's appointments, kids, things you need to get done or had a little bit too much fun the night before.

Cons

With the flex scheduling taken into consideration, being on time is very important. Also, attendance is huge. You don't want to be late or call off sick too often - especially if you are new. This should be a no brainer at any job, really, but some people will surprise you. Benefits aren't offered, but they should be soon.
