      Decent pay and benefits Privately owned

      Cons

      Zero training CEO is very condescending, tells you to ask questions but when you do gets upset. Expects you to learn everything on your own Owners have no idea what type of business they are in. No consideration of anyone’s ideas or suggestions even though they say they want to hear about them. Manager complains constantly, employees do not like working for her. Say you can work from home on occasion but when you do they consider that PTO.

      Pros

      I began my career with Christmas Designers as an $8.00 an hour administrative assistant. It was supposed to be a 90 day temporary job. Here I am, 27 years later as the CEO of the company. It’s been an amazing adventure with an incredible team.

      Cons

      A seasonal Christmas business isn’t for everyone. It can be extremely demanding, fast paced and addictive. Each season is like an adrenaline rush and you never know what to expect.
