My time at Circoolar was my first dive into the retail industry, and it was enlightening. It provided a firsthand understanding of the pivotal role sustainability plays in this sector. Collaborating with the team, I actively contributed my ideas and perspectives to their ongoing projects and client presentations. One particularly enriching experience was being involved in the creation of designs for cloth tags on accessories, notably Circoolar's tote bags. This task involved close collaboration with the in-house fashion designers. It allowed me to immerse myself in the intricacies of the design process, from ideation to the final printed product. Working alongside the fashion designers and commercial management department, I gained insights into the creative and technical aspects, understanding how design concepts translate into tangible prints for accessories. It was a hands-on experience that deepened my understanding of the intersection between creativity and production in the fashion industry.
Cons
While navigating the internship, I identified a potential area for improvement, the absence of an additional Graphic Designer within the team. Having another experienced professional would have been advantageous.
