Pros
Good resume builder. You can be thrown into duties with no experience that would require degrees and experience at any other company, like contracting but without the common pay of course. Zero micromanagement; you can surf the internet or play on your phone all day and call in 1-2 times per week and nothing will happen to you. Drinking alcohol on Fridays.
Cons
If you are an eager, hardworking employee here it won't be recognized. The favoritism is intense. Management says it's a "flat" company meaning everyone will be called a Member Advocate no matter how much or little work you do each day. Pay is unfair; you will be paid what you're willing to accept and MA's doing far less than others make more if they're a favorite. They hire people in their early 20's who've never had a job in an office and throw them into a complex position. Having no attendance policy eventually causes those who have a strong work ethic begin to be unable to work a full week and unfortunately for the young people with no experience, sets them up for failure anywhere else. Drinking on Friday might be a pro but when you're hiring young people with little to no pre-employment screening, it's a recipe for disaster.
