Pros
-ClearPoint is a good mix of nimble start-up and a stable mature company. We work hard and are serious about our work and our customer's success, but we also enjoy each other's company, have fun at work, and practice work-life balance. -Most of us are hybrid (3 days in office) and we appreciate the ability to work together in person and have quiet or flexible work time at home. -Salaries are fair and equitable, and the company is transparent with pay ranges and levels. They're pretty clear at the start that they're likely not going to be the highest paying employer, but make that up in benefits, culture, flexibility, and job security. -The company has invested heavily in systems and supports that one might only expect to find in larger companies. -Smart, Hungry, and Humble people do best here.
Cons
None of these are really cons, but rather things to understand for fit. -Part of being in a start-up environment is moving quickly, making decisions on incomplete info, being resourceful, and being willing to pitch in to get a project completed. To some that may feel chaotic or stressful. It's not for everyone. -Leaders have to make hard budget decisions and compromises to keep the company healthy. This can be frustrating to some who feel raises, investments, luxury office space and personalized perks can all happen at the same time.
