Pros
very nice people - this company does a good job of hiring kind people ( for the most part)
Cons
My time at Cleo started off on a promising note, but unfortunately, it gradually became a place of disappointment and frustration. If you're considering working for this company, I strongly advise proceeding with caution. To begin with, the first warning sign appeared during the interview process. After submitting my interview assignment, I didn't hear back for a month. The subsequent red flag was when my recruiter scheduled a final round, which was delayed for an additional month. Little did I know that this prolonged interview process was a reflection of the team dynamics I would later experience. One of the most alarming aspects of this company is the high employee turnover. within my team. Numerous individuals on my team left, and within a year, I found myself as the most tenured employee. The lack of clarity within the organization was another significant concern. Job descriptions were subject to sudden and drastic changes, leaving employees feeling uncertain about their roles and responsibilities. A pivotal turning point occurred when I was assigned a new manager who clearly displayed a dislike towards me. The way she spoke to me was entirely inappropriate, lacking any trace of emotional intelligence. When I expressed my concerns about career development and expressed a desire to take on new projects, my concerns were dismissed without consideration. Even on my last day, there was no acknowledgment or farewell from this manager. Beyond strange and validating that they did not care for me. While I acknowledge that some teams within Cleo may have better experiences, it seemed that many employees, even on other teams, were secretly job searching and harbored a sense of misery.
