Pros

Very stable company with no history of layoffs, even during bad years like covid.

Cons

Competitive pay has always been a problem. Benefits are just OK. They used to offer a cash-in-lieu stipend if you didn’t take their insurance, new employees don’t get this option. Only special people get acknowledgement or perks, even if you work hard. They have a new program called Thrive that requires employees to set and fulfill goals in order to get a pay raise, if you don’t fulfill the goals you may not get a raise at all, be placed on a PIP, or let go. Many in management need to retire or nothing will change.

Pros

Family owned business. Strong team culture with many long-tenured employees who are willing to help each other succeed. The company supports major aerospace programs, so the work feels meaningful and technically interesting. Leadership is generally accessible, and there is a growing focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence. Employees can gain exposure to multiple areas of the business and develop valuable manufacturing and supply chain experience.

Cons

Multiple Buildings makes standardization difficult Some processes are still developing. Documentation and standard work could be improved Communication between departments can sometimes be inconsistent Rapid growth can generate “growing pains”

Pros

Decent vacation and health benefits. Some coworkers were easy going and helpful when I was unsure about something.

Cons

Management expects too much too soon when it comes to speed and accuracy. These are both tradeoffs and we realistically can't have it both ways, Especially during the first few months.
