Pros

I’ve had a very positive experience working at Climate First Bank. The culture is supportive, leadership is approachable, and employees are genuinely encouraged to take advantage of the benefits offered. One of the things that stands out most is the employee programs, which helped my family purchase a vehicle, buy a home through the employee mortgage program, and install solar panels. These benefits aren’t just advertised they’re real and accessible, and they make a meaningful difference. Overall, Climate First Bank is a place where employees are valued and supported both professionally and personally. I’m grateful to be part of the organization.

Cons

There is nothing I can think of.

Pros

A rapidly growing and expanding mission-based bank that cares deeply about the environment and social justice. Employer paid health benefits for employee only enrollment, and a great 401k match. Opportunity for salary increase with a mission based program for employees. Overall, love the people in the company and it is a great place to work!

Cons

With remote work, work-life balance can be harder for some. As a younger and growing bank, there is no lack of work to get done - so you stay busy. Also, a little bit less company-wide interactions between departments.

Pros

I've been with CFB for several years now and I've never worked anywhere like it. Expectations are high but so are organizational transparency, integrity and walking the walk. I have never worked anywhere where opportunities are available as much as in this place and if you work hard the possibilities are truly endless. People genuinely like working here, there is low turnover and leadership walks the walk. Sure, there are growing pains, but you can tell that everybody really wants to make this something great, for the mission and the people. Everybody can partake, all voices matter and hierarchies are low. Anybody who is not afraid of hard work and wants real growth opportunities in a place with integrity and purpose will find a stable home here.

Cons

It's a young bank. Structure is still being build and it's an all hands on deck mentality. Not a con necessarily but something to be aware of. The culture is one of high performance/ expectations with high rewards. It's not for everyone, but for the folks that stick will appreciate being part of something bigger and being able to put their mark on a young organization.
