Pros
I'm not a morning person by nature, and I own a few broken alarm clocks to prove it. But in spite of that fact, I have woken up every morning since I started at Climber actually looking forward to going into the office. I'll be celebrating my one-year anniversary with this company in exactly one week, and my enthusiasm for, and my pride in this company are stronger than ever.
The people here are absolutely incredible, and from the ground up, the company is a true reflection of the businessmen who founded it. Mike O'Brien and Nick Jimenez, the CEO and COO respectively, are both profoundly intelligent, ethical professionals who value their employees and take the time to get to know their team as well as they know their business. As bosses, they encourage a fun work environment along with a sense of responsibility among the people they employ. Not ones to micromanage, they expect the same level of respect in return but maintain a great open-door policy that makes it easy to come to them with concerns and ideas.
Cons
As a truly happy employee, coming up with a list of cons is much harder for me. When I first came on board, the way the office was set up was not always conducive to meeting and interacting with people in other departments. However, we recently acquired a new, larger space, which resolves that issue and allows for further growth in the company.
