Pros

The company is set in a beautiful if remote part of Canada and is a lovely place to live and work. The studio is small and the team , although young , are very talented. The management , although new to the gaming sector , are passionate about the product and so want to create something that will make a positive difference to the players. I always found the management open to my ideas and have continued to have a good relationship with them even though I no longer work with the company.

Cons

The area is remote , so it may not be a pro for some people . A small studio with no track record of games with high sales ( although this is changing ) . The content is mainly educational , which may be a turn off for some , but the content that is being produced is of a high level Management team is very new to gaming , but as each year that goes by this is lessening .

Pros

+ A team that is small enough to know everyone well and be dynamic with tasks, but large enough that resources aren't too constrained + Fully stocked fridge and cupboards with endless coffee + A great group health and dental plan + Professional development opportunities + Group social events + Flexible start and end times to your day + Potential for growth/promotions + A supportive team that thrives on collaboration + A very friendly office with a diverse and accepting culture + A beautiful product that actually makes a difference in the lives of others + An open-concept office that is relatively quiet so it's easy to plug away and get work done + Management that takes values everyone's ideas and input and strives to make everyone happy in their role/job duties + An entire week-10 days off at Christmas time + Competitive wages for a small/growing company

Cons

- As a growing team we're still trying to find our way in some areas, but with this comes constant improvements across the board - Tight deadlines which can be tough to manage when it's crunch time - Some reluctance from older team members who are not as open to changes in company culture - With a small team you get experience in many areas, but this can also lead to being spread too thin in your area of expertise
