Deciding to leave CloudLearn was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
Cons
I gave CloudLearn a year and a half of my life and honestly, wish I had never bothered. Where do I start, zero office/company culture, a dull work environment and no job progression or any mention of it either. The icing on the cake is when you go into a yearly review, which management hasn’t even bothered to prepare for, being offered one amount of a salary increase, then less than a week later another meeting takes place, where the salary increase is now reduced and new responsibilities not related to the job appearing out of nowhere. When you question management, why this has changed in less than a week, they laugh about it - makes you feel really valued as an employee. They change their tune when you hand in your notice to leave and then everything under the sun is promised to you to try and make you stay; training, higher salary and false promises of in 3, 6, 12 months time you will be doing this and things will change, they never do. They think they are above the law and that it’s appropriate to invade employees privacy by accessing their personal email accounts without permission and using this to make false allegations against them and waste everyone's time by trying to threaten dismissal, despite already handing my notice in, makes a lot of sense... Deciding to leave CloudLearn was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
