Pros

I had the opportunity to serve as a Coding Instructor at the Danforth Location for Codezilla Kids summer of 2025 and I absolutely loved the experience. The support from the management, co-workers, and understanding parents made it incredibly intuitive to deliver great camp sessions for kids interested in developing their programming skills. If you are looking for a job that helps you grow as an individual and hone your technical and behavioural abilities, Codezilla is an amazing option. Being part of Codezilla enabled me to extend my leadership abilities beyond school, and served as an successful experience filled with amazing memories, and learning moments. I would highly recommend that you apply to codezilla, and good luck with your application!

Cons

There wasn't really much of any cons expect that you are expected to deliver the quality of service you were chosen and trained for leading up to summer. That meant arriving on time, being proactive during job hours, providing insights on key events from a given week, and enjoying the job. Nonetheless, the expectations are easy to follow given that you are ready to take the job seriously and believe in codezilla's mission and values.

Pros

A great opportunity to work with kids, and teach science/coding knowledge. Great if you love one or both!

Cons

There is a set curriculum, but you will have flexibility in some scheduling and can always provide feedback and suggest changes.
