Pros
Smaller organization, greater visibility to all tiers. Work on smaller engagements with 2nd & 3rd tier organizations, with the chance to be a big fish in a small pond
Cons
Smaller organization with all the pretentions and bureaucratic trappings of a scale player. Heavily matrixed organization makes decision making difficult and nimbleness a thing of slideware. Very reluctant to take gambles however likely to succeed, no investment in bench, no discipline in staying a course if the financial winds change. New management assumes control April 2018 onwards with no discernible change to these "small time player" mentality issues.
