Pros
Coinify is a multicultural company, people will bring interesting ideas and you will chat with people that have good knowledge about cryptos. As an engineer they gave the opportunity to do more than what you've been hired for. They take GDPR seriously and they always try to find to improve themselves whether it’s in their codebase or their marketing strategies as a whole.
Cons
Unfortunately learning about cryptos isn't what they hired people for even if you have 0 knowledge of experience with it. Usually people do their own task and get back home (probably just like any other companies). Transparency is king here but it also means that you better say everything that you do otherwise managers will start to chase on you (that's sad seriously). Managers could be quite stubborn and rude within the tech team in fact it could be one of the reasons they fire people immediately no matter how hard you worked for this company. Some head people within the tech team have no clue about tech which was funny since they need to understand every stack of an application and probably what technical discussion is about. Managing people with "you guys know better so it is up to you to decide" is a funny way to lead a team. There's no clear ways of implementing features and you will get into arguments most of the time with managers and that's a huge time waisting. Regarding compensation you won't get anything more than your salary and contractors won't even get paid holidays or any materials for your day to day work(computer etc...).
