Many people reading the review prefer to work 8 hours a day sitting in an office, and at 6:01 pm already run to their family. That's not possible in this studio. Most likely, in exchange for complete freedom you will be expected to be fully available and eager to make the project really better. That doesn't mean there are crunches in the studio, but there is definitely some chaos here that you will be forced to structure, find people to help you and take on more communication responsibilities

I was working with Cold Symmetry for almost 2 years. It was a great work environment, even though we worked from home. Founders really listened to all their employees and made sure we were making a kick-ass game TOGETHER. They were completely transparent with all aspects of the game we were working on and would hold biweekly calls to discuss the project and let everyone ask questions and share what they were working on. Salaries were competitive, work culture and inclusion were great. Definitely one of the top companies I have worked for so far.

The only cons were things that were ultimately out of their hands.
