Pros
-They’ll promote you a bunch of times to keep you longer, but will still pay you well below the market rate for your position. -You’ll learn a lot because they are heavily understaffed so you will wear many hats in any role you take on and you’ll end up doing more than what’s in your job description. -They will hire you with no experience, so it’s a great place to start your career, but be careful not to get stuck here. -The people are nice for the most part because everyone is stuck in the same black hole together. -Interesting products that have potential, but the staffing issues here are known widespread in the industry, which makes the company look bad overall.
Cons
-They refuse to pay people the market rate for their position titles. -They are unable to recruit top talent because they try to hire people on a discount or on sale, which doesn’t work in todays workforce, so essentially no one that works there knows what they are doing. -They operate in a VERY outdated fashion and can’t be convinced otherwise because they don’t want to spend the money. So, get ready for nothing digital, no modern programs in place, etc., which makes any job at this company more difficult, and sets you up for failure. -They pretend to be a smaller company than they actually are, but this company can afford to pay people the market rate, and still chooses not to. -They are having major issues with losing staff members and have been sending out feedback questionnaires to try and see why people are quitting (HELLO, READ ABOVE!) -You will be undervalued - You won’t get anything from them unless you ask for it (whether that be a promotion, higher title, or more money) no matter how well you perform at your job. Even if you ask, you probably won’t get it. -Benefits are actually terrible and they will give you a hard time about flexibility. Good luck getting any remote work arrangements here. Any other company this day and she has remote options laid out for you. -They are extremely understaffed because everyone is quitting and then they are having issues hiring new people because of their low-ball offers/terrible benefits. -They do not value education or degrees at this company. You could have a PhD and still be entry-level here. -There is no transparent path for growth and your expectations will be greater than what is in your job description.
