Pros

The company offers a great deal of freedom in decision-making, focusing on results rather than strict adherence to processes. If something goes wrong, you'll receive constructive feedback, and you are empowered to choose the path to address any gaps. Everyone acknowledges mistakes, and more importantly, they are treated as learning opportunities—no one repeats the same mistake twice. There's no bureaucracy here. If you're seeking growth, your manager will provide you with expanded responsibilities and a clear development plan. The culture fosters professionalism and growth rather than blindly obeying standard practices or leadership directives.

Cons

Like in any startup, it can be challenging to keep track of everything different teams are working on, but this issue is manageable. You might occasionally work longer hours, but it’s rewarding because you feel motivated to constantly bring value to the product.

Pros

Collectly is a group of really talented people working on cutting-edge AI for healthcare payments. The learning and growth here is collaborative in the best way—management genuinely wants to hear your questions and ideas, and there's zero stigma around raising your hand when you need help. The "we're in this together" vibe is real, and there's this fearless energy around solving problems. People work smart here, and the work-life balance actually exists (not just lip service).

Cons

We're a startup, so not everything is figured out or locked down yet. Processes are still being built, systems are evolving, and things can change. If you need everything to be perfectly structured and predictable, this probably isn't the place for you. You've got to be comfortable rolling with change and bringing your own creativity to help figure things out.

Pros

Somewhat flexible schedules, like others have said.

Cons

Expectations from eng leadership are never clear, however it is always clear that engineering teams are not meeting expectations. There’s conflicting directives to move very fast but also push out high quality code with a low tolerance for few bugs. Engineering leadership micromanages projects and treats any new ideas or thoughts about changing processes as dumb. Poor onboarding process which required me to travel to California for two weeks for some reason, even though no one on my team works in that office.
