Pros

Having more than 10 years of professional experience in different spheres and almost 4 year in IT as a Project Manager I can truly call ColorElephant one of the best companies I ever worked. Among the pros: 1. Human attitude. Friendly, positive, happy, professional experience. 2. Management support with daily PM routines and challenges (technical details, staff provision and client urgent/non-urgent requests). I mean really support. 3. Working remotely, which I truly value because I have a dog I don't want to leave alone for at least 10 hours each day. 4. Company that appreciates both seasoned professionals and raising talents. Great opportunity to learn from smart people and get inspired by ambitious devs. 5. Challenging and non-trivial projects that won't let me get bored. 6. Great efforts from the management to guide the company forward and explain future plans on monthly company status call.

Cons

There are cons in any job (I think they are typical across all IT companies and PM): 1. For project management it is the intense work load across multiple projects so you have to have a good memory to ease your professional life. 2. Urgent work outside working hours. Luckily if projects are in a good state it doesn't happen too often. 3. Resourcing of people: the devs who shown their worth are moved to new and exciting projects (or existing and large) and sometimes for smaller things like sites under maintenance I need to wait for a fresh person or one that is unfamiliar with the details.

Pros

Nobody is micromanaging and you are pretty much in charge of projects as developer. This lets you build projects the way you want to. The company is really diverse and accepting. They usually hire you and see how you go over time rather than a complicated tough hiring process which is good if it's your first job.

Cons

From my point of view company tries to hire cheaper labor so developers hired sometimes do not lead up to skilled co-workers therefore there always is people coming and going frequently and code they write become your liability to fix and progress.
