Upon becoming Commify (from Esendex and Text Marketer) the company drastically took on more than it could handle.
Too many brands and platforms to manage, meant that staff were worn out, customers weren't getting a great experience, buying companies with seemingly little plan for them and a huge assumption that staff would pick up more responsibilities to 'make things work'.
Team structures were changed consistently over recent years. The sales team in particular have been really poorly mismanaged with targets, responsibilities, activities changing on nearly monthly basis. Since new executive management a lot of higher sales positions have gone to contacts of previous employment.
Career progression is regularly discussed but not often acted upon meaning that good staff who could have been loyal long-term members are left downhearted and ultimately move on.
What once was a solid company with shared values and people who wanted to work together has become disjointed and dispersed as it's more important to get people in quick than to find candidates who share the 'culture'.
