The CUS system (Concerned, Uncomfortable, Safety) promotes open communication regarding concerns and safety issues.

Low additional shift bonus incentive reduces motivation for staff to take on extra shifts. The charting system hinders workflow, causing delays and frustration. Ongoing staff shortages strain floors/units, negatively impacting morale and patient care. Limited coordination and collaboration between certain departments lead to inefficiencies and communication gaps. Some distance from management creates a disconnect in communication.
