Pros

They can pay above the market rate for most middle level to senior roles. Most of the premium comes from bonus and guaranteed 13 and 14 month payments. Just be warned about how they play with it, changing the parameters and payout schedule every year. Work-life balance is pretty decent for a fast-paced tech company. Many long-timers are waiting to strike lottery with a retrenchment package. The retrenchments still happen every six months or so, but the packages are getting less generous over time.

Cons

Poorly run company. Top management lacks business know-how, with important roles often given based on relationships and alliances, despite a lack of competency and accountability. If you are joining the company for the money, learn the political landscape quickly to survive. Business strategy and organization structure changes with the wind every three to six months. Poor benefits for such a large company, in particular, travel policy is shocking for a travel company.

Pros

Great coworkers to work with, free lunch, good insurance benefit

Cons

They make us seem like we are underperformed and will take us to PRP round which lead to layoff. Unclear direction of where the company’s going. Lots of incredible leaders are leaving, shall be enough reason to notice what kind of company Traveloka is.
