Tight-knit community overshadowed by toxic culture - Athletics Staff Lake Erie College Employee Review

Toxic culture and leadership. Leadership leads by example, but there is constant gossiping about other staff members and their job performance. Constant negativity around the workplace, and truly a soul-sucking place after a while. Staff members are treated differently based on their personal relationship with the athletic director. Poor job performance will be excused for staff members who are close with her, but those who are not will be nitpicked and gossiped about behind the scenes to other staff members, and their job performance will be held under a microscope.
