High media presence but lacks fair pay and training - Policy Adviser NewGlobe Employee Review

Working for a globally distributed company has its challenges certainly but I appreciate that I'm intellectually challenged and learning everyday from my peers overseas as a result. I also really admire our leadership team. Everyone has strong subject matter expertise and varying perspectives from a variety of cultures. Additionally, it's refreshing to have a boss who has both high EQ and IQ; I'm developing a lot professionally by being in their orbit. The best thing about working at NewGlobe is our opportunity to impact millions of pupils across Africa and India. It's really cool to see how my work is translated into helping children upskill themselves and therefore get greater access to higher level education opportunities.

Working with wonderful people from all over the world. Making a difference. The product works. Children achieve real learning gains in schools with NewGlobe curriculum and technology. Intellectually rigorous. Education in the developing world makes for daily challenges to be overcome. Very smart people working here who demand excellent work output. More than a job. NewGlobe is a mission with meaningful work.

Business model requires timely payments from government partners and delays in payments create many operational challenges. Pay is mostly competitive but benefits are weak. Distributed workforce makes a cohesive culture challenging to realize.
