Overall, I felt it was messy, confusing, and disorganized. I was first given a test that tested cognitive abilities, which I had passed. Then, I was given a task to write a teacher script based on photocopied content from a textbook. I was told I only had 3 hours to complete the task, but I was missing one critical piece of content and the template required for the script. Additionally, there were few or unclear directions for how to complete the task with fidelity. For example, it was stated that AI should not be used, but there was no AI blocker. I didn't use AI, but another candidate easily could have. I had also added more content into the script than I likely needed to because I was not told how long the script or the accompanying scope & sequence should be or not be. I had really wanted the job, and it aligned 100% to my background, but I did not feel the assessment or interview effectively assessed that.
