Pros

Good pay for what we do. Team is great and interactive. work life balance is great. Opportunities for progression if you want it.

Cons

QA failed one of my calls in the Christmas period for reading out one line within the T&C's after another statement that we had to say. This was very random because I've had many calls marked when this wasn't an issue. I let it run because they didn't care enough to hear me out. Three months later after amendments have been made they fail/development another call saying the way I did it previous was actually the right way. This showcased to me that they change the rules to take money from your pocket if you are too consistent.

Pros

Yes, there are hiccups—those are to be expected in any growing operation. However, the pros far outweigh the challenges. If you’re looking to be part of a company where your work has a real impact, your team has your back, and leadership is actively working to create an inclusive and forward-thinking culture, Domestic & General USA is an excellent choice. Supportive Team Environment: The team here truly stands out. You'll find colleagues who actively support you, fight for you, and help at every step. Collaboration is a central part of the culture. Inclusive Leadership: The leadership team demonstrates a genuine commitment to inclusivity. They take deliberate actions to foster a workplace that feels welcoming and equitable for everyone. Meaningful Contributions: While it’s a fast-paced environment with plenty of work, you’ll make impactful contributions. The work you do directly supports the team and the overall success of the organization, which is incredibly rewarding.

Cons

The Challenges: Growing Pains: Being part of a new and growing team in the U.S. comes with its fair share of challenges. It can be frustrating when processes differ from those of established teams in other countries, and there’s definitely room for improvement in aligning practices globally. Demanding Workload: This is not a “coast-through” kind of role. The workload can be intense at times, so it’s important to stay flexible and solution-oriented.

Pros

Very relaxed and professional environment. The managers are tenured and approachable. You get out what you put in. If you have a talent for sales you can make a lot in bonuses.

Cons

High turnover. They invest a lot of time into training but expect results in the form of high sales percentage and adherence to policies and procedures.
