Pros

I really enjoy the work we do here at Compass. It is a team approach for changing young lives. Every employee here plays a part in the treatment for the patients. Compass can be a challenging job at times, but overall is very rewarding. To be a part of a child's growth toward success is not something everyone gets to accomplish every day, but we definitely do. I love the work that I do and love being a part of a team that makes a difference. Another pro about working at Compass Intervention Center is that you have support, whether it be something small or a crisis; there is always a team to support you. Overall Compass is definitely a five star work place.

Cons

Though I am very passionate about the work we do here at Compass Intervention Center, it can be stressful work. Often stress can be created with situations that are out of our hands, and occasionally some things are beyond what we can control. All jobs I have had in the past have had some level of stress though, so that con is a given. Compass is a great place to work and I would (and do) recommend our facility every day!

Pros

Making a positive impact on children who are less fortunate. Groups are small 8-10 per group. Education is awesome! The therapists and nurses are great. Mental Health Techs are positive role models! The kids are much better than they were two years ago. Very safe place to work, unlike other treatment centers

Cons

Easy to get burned out if you don't know how to appropriately set boundaries with the kids.
