Pros

Connexient is a rapidly growing New York-based company that is a leader in defining and driving one of the most important areas of Indoor Location-based Services. Think of us like Indoor Google Maps & Navigation, but as an Enterprise solution that will touch on everything & everybody that moves in a large campus, facility or network. Our first vertical is Healthcare - where we have grown from 8 to 25+ major health network clients in the last year - such as Memorial Hermann Health System, Baycare Health, St. Joseph's Health System, Mercy Health, and the National Institutes of Health. But our clients can be any organization with large, complex buildings, facilities or campuses. And while Patient Experience is the first "killer application," once we have deployed our solution, Connexient can drive compelling value for users and ROI for our clients by integrating Indoor Navigation and location-based services over time across almost all areas of the Enterprise: operations, safety & security, facility management, asset tracking and more. We call this Navigation-enabling the Enterprise.

Cons

Connexient is an early stage emerging growth company. That means having to juggle and work with fewer resources than you may be used to, do more with less. Expect a dynamic, rapidly changing environment. This is not the place for someone looking for a 9 - 5 gig.

Pros

- From the PM's on down there are really great and fun people to work with who you would happily grab drinks with. Makes the stress of the job a lot more bearable a lot of times. - Remote work.

Cons

- Very few resources. If you are part of the QA or field team especially prepare to be overloaded. - Freelance devs are not invested in the product causing multiple issues that are blamed on everyone else except the devs. Expect to never meet a deadline. - Not much room to grow at the bottom. If you are not a PM or above this is not the place to grow your career. They offer you training with no real desire to actually promote within or give you opportunities to grow. Team members that have been there for years get overlooked and your time doesn't mean much if at all. - A lot of micromanaging. Everything you do needs to be relayed to a superior constantly. - Your time investment means nothing. Employees that have been there for years and invested a lot into the company are treated as if they just started. - Fake transparency from management. They don't have your best interests in mind even though they may say it. - No real feedback about your work or where to improve. If you ask they give vague answers and you are left in the dark until you are blindsided with it when it's in there best interest.
