Pros
Great learning opportunity for anyone with no experience in property management but can keep up with a fast paced environment. You will learn A LOT!!! Easy work hours, owner doesn't want employees to "take work home" so no weekend or overtime hours for office staff, open lines of communication to owner (who works in the office by the way), generous raises and bonuses are given more frequently than most places and are based on ABILITY and LEVEL OF WORK PRODUCCED, AMAZING coworkers, and you get to network with others in different aspects of the industry (board members, residents, attorneys, realtors, investors, closers, etc.) on a daily basis and learn more about those roles as well. Owner is WILLING to help you grow and even pay for the tools, classes, licensing, etc. to further growth if he can see you are really put forth the necessary effort.
Cons
High turnover, you may have to carry the weight of other employees who are not as informed, and get burned out from teaching a new person every two months. Sometimes, practices may be questionable and challenge your own ethical values (but that's business isn't it).
