Pros

Overall, the people who work there are great and will inspire you to be your best! I met some of the most amazing people in my time working there and walked away with quite a few friends. Most of the office is young professionals that are friendly, dynamic, fresh-minded, helpful, and hardworking! I found my dream team here once upon a time. Regular office parties/outings to stylish events and luxurious restaurants. There are always office snacks and Seamless twice a week, which is really nice! They have two massage chairs in the office. Good insurance benefits packages to choose from. Projects are very involved and you will have the opportunity to learn a lot of different skills through hands-on application.

Cons

Overall, a toxic work environment with a lot of tension in the air. You will work in fear (most likely). And the longer you are there, the worse it will probably get. Despite the majority of the people in the office being really awesome individuals, there are a select few people there (in high positions) that create a very hostile atmosphere in the office. Work-life balance is an afterthought and holds little value at Constellation Agency. They really don’t care how late or how often you have to stay to finish all of your assignments. Slow periods are a blessing that doesn’t come often, It is usually pretty busy. When it is busy you are just expected to get it all done, and by whatever means necessary. Even if that means working potentially weeks without a day off because you might need to work on weekends from home, stay late every/most nights(s) for a while. It is frowned upon that you leave your computer at work because they want you to be available round the clock in case she sort of last-minute “emergency” pops up off-hours. Stress levels are incredibly high. To the point that it became a physical problem (as well as mental and emotional) for me. As a normally very healthy person, I had never been so sick nor so often in my life. (which I still worked all of those days - in fear of persecution or being labeled as lazy or unqualified, etc). You will constantly need to defend yourself. Constellation Agency is a nearly never-ending battleground for your job, especially when someone high up just simply doesn’t like you. Management almost endlessly tests and challenges people’s position in the company and there is always the ever-present threat looming about that you or your team members are at risk of getting the chopping block - for often illegitimate reasons. High turn over rate. When I worked there, the longest period of time that went by where no one got fired or quit was about 2-3 months (mind you, the office is small. Roughly fluctuating between 30 and 50 people). A lot of office politics and favoritism. Most of the time there is one person/several people at any given moment that cycle in and out of what we would call internally “The Hot Seat”. Here, you basically exist under intense scrutiny, and are usually punished/negatively sanctioned in some way - for any and everything the management deems noteworthy (which is a wild card and could really be anything). You’ll need to walk on eggshells to avoid “The Hot Seat” and even then, good luck staying out of it, just about everybody gets seated there at some point or another -even the most hard-working and dedicated people there find themselves in that tough spot sometimes. Some punishments I experienced and/or witnessed were: •Threatened to be fired •Shouted at -like a child (this can happen both alone and in group settings) •Left out of company events/outings •Actually fired **I could name off quite a few other notable incidences that are more specific, but I am afraid they might give away my identity. Employees have little-to-no protection, advocation, or voice to defend themselves. Real leadership roles helping the teams along aren’t really there and it’s often an uphill battle to be even as much as heard or believed. Again I want to reiterate: You will have your job threatened. A lot. You will be told how replaceable you are. Often in very stressful and emotionally charged situations and by very powerful people in the company. One very powerful individual in particular once threatened my entire team of 5 people’s jobs (5 at the time) and said something to the effect of ‘I have so many emails from people begging for your jobs, I can replace each of you in a second’. Which is objectively terrible leadership and not the way you should treat anyone -regardless of hierarchy. Being shamed both individually and in front of your peers is not an uncommon practice.

Pros

Constellation’s work atmosphere provides a space of learning and collaboration that has been an integral part of my growth as an employee. Work culture at the office plays a huge role in strengthening the team’s relationship, building a true camaraderie amongst each other. Constellation’s work is at the forefront of advertising and AI, setting me and my peers up for success in the future. The most important factor to team success at Constellation by far is leadership. From the beginning, employees are trusted to make meaningful contributions and attribute their ideas. Leadership does not hesitate when it comes to showing the ropes to newer employees, which is a characteristic that doesn’t go unnoticed and is important for success.

Cons

There are none at the moment.

Pros

I’ve had the opportunity to grow significantly here and take on meaningful responsibility throughout my time with the company. Because it’s a fast-paced and evolving environment, there are real chances to build processes, contribute ideas, and make an impact beyond your title. If you’re someone who likes ownership and wants to be hands-on in helping shape a business, it can be a great place to grow. The team is made up of smart, hardworking people who genuinely care about doing strong work and supporting each other. There is also a fun side to the culture with a great office environment, regular company events, team outings, and perks like Uber Eats lunches that help create energy and keep people connected. It’s a place where you can work hard while also enjoying the people around you.

Cons

As with many growing companies, priorities can shift quickly and processes continue to evolve. That can sometimes create ambiguity or require teams to adapt fast. People who prefer highly structured environments may find the pace challenging at times.
