Pros

Hiring and interviewing process was quick.

Cons

New APRN training was abysmal/non existent. Preceptor wouldn’t even sit with me and was not available to answer questions. They were very concerned they’d be fired and were motivated to undermine others for that not to happen. Advertise loan repayment then said they were hesitant to keep providers there who were only interested in repayment and would then leave them. Wanted to change practice from three to two providers to cover 60 patients a day. Found a way to fire the last person hired. Please notice there are ZERO current openings for providers in the state because of this change in practice. Also you’re expected to work 2-3 hours a day catching up on charting a day and “do homework on the weekends” charting and working on templates on top of a work week with 12-13 hour shifts with zero breaks. They push for you to take more patients a day then require routine team building and various other meetings that take you out of circulation for hours and will cut you early when there’s low patient numbers.

Pros

I do believe leadership genuinely wants to hear from employees and is open to feedback to help improve the workplace. There are opportunities for staff to share their thoughts, although not everyone chooses to speak up. While it's impossible to make everyone happy all the time, it's important to remember that ConvenientMD is a business that must balance supporting our patients, caring for our teams, and remaining financially sustainable. Overall, I appreciate that the company continues to seek employee input while working to meet the needs of both staff and patients.

Cons

Communication can be inconsistent at times, particularly during periods of rapid change. While efforts are made to keep teams informed, there are opportunities to improve communication between leadership and frontline teams to ensure expectations and updates are consistently shared. Work-life balance can also be challenging, especially for those in middle management. The role often requires balancing the needs of frontline staff, leadership expectations, and operational demands, which can make it difficult to fully disconnect outside of work.
