Pros

Management is nice and there is adequate training provided for you to make higher than minimum wage if you desire.

Cons

Pay structure and the fact that the “flexible scheduling” allows the company to avoid providing paid 30 minute breaks.

Thank you for your honest review! We're pleased to hear that you were satisfied with the friendly management team in our Athens office and the training provided by that team. We love training new transcriptionists and watching their skills grow with time and practice! We are however saddened to know that you weren't as satisfied with our compensation or break policies. Our unparalleled scheduling flexibility gives you the ability to take breaks as needed to make the job better for you and fit it around your lifestyle. We do offer paid breaks within reason, and give you the ability to track the amount of breaks taken. Our compensation structure is also competitive in that you can take the intensive training given upon hire and use it that along with our numerous resources to push yourself to make higher rates of pay, up to $13/hour! This job is best suited for those who are willing to compete with themselves daily to beat their scores from the previous day and work toward our performance metrics. We thank you again for this feedback and wish you all the best in this new year!

Pros

I worked remote like most people at the company so there's advantages to that. You set your own hours more or less and the schedule is really flexible. There were multiple times where I had to and was able to make a schedule change right before I was meant to work, if we weren't that busy. Had kind and personable management. It's easy work as long as you have a good WPM. I stayed as a scribe and never really sought out any opportunities but there are some advancement opportunities and bonuses you could earn. The company gives you equipment and replaces it as needed.

Cons

The first few months I worked there were pretty busy, but work has dwindled down quite a bit even as we go into what used to be busy months. You have to be really good at the job in order to get more hours. Having to use a PC and monitor is kind of inconvenient if you don't have a lot of desk space in your home but it's nice that they provide you with equipment.
