Pros

Non that I can think of

Cons

This is the most dysfunctional, unprofessional employer I have had the displeasure of being involved with in a decades long career. The only true mission of this company is to provide a source of income to the ever expanding number of family members who have no business representing themselves as "Industry Experts" but are unable to find a job anywhere else. This income is provided on the backs of the very few consultants who are constantly on the road while the vast number of family members hold "back office" jobs that require no travel and allow them to be the only ones to enjoy the "company, (family), perks. No one, among the many family members in the ranks have a background in healthcare or have ever worked in a hospital. Degrees in theatre arts, forestry, and hospitality management, are some that these "experts" bring to the table. There is no regard for honesty or quality of the consulting services delivered and projects are frequently staffed with teams that have absolutely no clinical knowledge . The President and CEO does not believe that knowledge of the subject matter is necessary, nor is any experience in health care. The environment is one of volatility and subject to the emotional outbursts of the President if anyone dares to offer an opinion that is not in keeping with the established company narrative. Resources are scarce for those interfacing with clients and stealing and re-branding of work from outside sources is not only tolerated but encouraged. As an example, one family member, who does have interaction with clients, and is an Executive Vice President represents themselves as "coming from the practice side of the bench" . This experience that is touted is a summer job as an MA in a physician office, of course owned by another family member. The padded resumes of the rest of the Corazon family are populated with similar examples of their experience. Toxic is an understatement and the demands, histrionics, and extraordinarily unprofessional and low quality of services makes this a company that certainly does not value the employees, Unless of course you're one of the family. As further evidence, last year, an employee was terminated reportedly due to financial reasons. One week later a family member was welcomed as a new employee.
