Pros
> CoreHR feels like a company on the up - with many initiatives to improve the employee (and customer) experience. Crucially, once announced these are carried through, and progress updates delivered throughout. Nearly always are explanations given for changes to work practises/policies too > As per the title, there are clients from multiple sectors using the software in different ways. The keeps things challenging (and speaks to the strength of the software) but ensures the work never becomes boring > The company seems to hit the sweet spot in terms of size.We are big enough to have some heft when getting things done, small enough that we can all get together in an (admittedly large) room. > The software is constantly improving (both in breadth and depth), and there is a real drive to get it best in class. Some great innovation too! > The company invests time in communication e.g. regular departmental meetings and Town Halls keep the disparate parts of the business aware of what each is doing. Comms from C level are refreshingly frank when they need to be. > A few people have commented negatively about work/life balance. My manager has actively ensured that I am never scheduled to work more than my contract. There is quite a bit of travel that can take me over this threshold, but that's standard in this business/role

> Internal documentation isn't always great - which can make learning the software tricky, but there are initiatives to address this. > As with many similar companies the lines of communication between product > development > customer facing departments can get blocked. It's hard to find a balance; too much overwhelms the coders, too little leaves those at the other end in the dark. Again there are initiatives to get this fixed, but at the moment it's can be difficult acquiring answers
