Pros

Remote work is about the only positive for this place.

Cons

Totally toxic culture. This is the good ole boy network at its most disgusting level. The sales teams are encouraged to lie to customers and commit fraud against Microsoft on most projects by “selling” Microsoft funded programs design for customers adoption when most of the customers don’t even need those programs. Once they suck the customer in they scare them into complying with the MS deadlines even though the work isn’t completed . Total scam of a company. The benefits are poor, the bonus structure is designed so no one can achieve a bonus. Their SOWs are undeliverable poorly written regurgitated nonsense. This place is a complete nightmare don’t walk away RUN as quickly as you can away. Zero integrity and no support at all for the employees. If you’re not one of them you’re against them is the culture. Beware they have a back culture where certain employees are “Golden” and no rules or HR policy’s apply to them. I can’t emphasize enough to stay away from this place.

Pros

Coretek is a very Supportive company to work for. Coretek is a very collaborative company to work for, Coretek is a very Flexible and Professional Company. Coretek is an Open Book in communications across the entire company. Collaboration is a constant at Coretek.

Cons

I don't see much for cons at Coretek. We have extremely talented people working for the Coretek and they are the main reason that Coretek is having the success that we are having in AI, Dev Ops, Security and Cloud.

Pros

Straightforward commission plan (since I’m required to put a pro).

Cons

Well, not surprised to see other poor reviews and ratings here. I’m going to go ahead and add to it. I joined CoreTek with high expectations and a large existing book of business, but the reality was one of the most painful professional experiences I’ve had. The level of micromanagement is extreme and constant. Every single day starts with leadership demanding a breakdown of what you’re going to do. Then throughout the day, you’re bombarded on Teams with “What are you doing?” messages, as if you’re under surveillance. And it doesn’t stop there; your day ends with interrogations about what you did, along with mandatory spreadsheet updates to justify your existence. It’s not just excessive; it’s suffocating. It’s nearly impossible to get meaningful work done when you’re being constantly interrupted and second-guessed. There is zero trust in employees, and the culture reflects that at every level. What made this even worse was how the company handled a medical emergency I experienced. There was no empathy, no concern for my well-being, only questions about when I would be back online and working again. That told me everything I needed to know about how this company views its people. Leadership has created a culture of pressure, control, and disregard for employees. Expectations are unrealistic, support is nonexistent, and morale is incredibly low. It’s no surprise that people aren’t succeeding here; no one is set up to. Overall, a deeply disappointing experience. I would strongly caution anyone considering joining.

Coretek Services Response

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. At Coretek, we strive to create an environment where employees are supported, empowered, and set up for success. Our sales organization does operate with a structured cadence that includes daily planning, regular check-ins, and accountability measures. These are designed to provide clarity, coaching, and alignment—not to create unnecessary pressure—and many of our team members find this approach helpful in achieving their goals. We recognize that different individuals have different working styles, and this structure may not be the right fit for everyone. That said, we respectfully disagree with the characterization that our culture lacks trust or support. We are continuously investing in leadership development, enablement resources, and employee well-being initiatives to ensure our teams have what they need to succeed. Regarding your comments about a medical situation, we take matters of employee health and well-being very seriously and aim to handle all such situations with care and in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. While we cannot comment on specific circumstances, we are committed to treating all employees with professionalism and respect. We wish you the best in your future endeavors and appreciate your perspective, as feedback helps us continue to evaluate and improve our employee experience.
